Leatherface 3D Getting Director John Luessenhop?


Bloody Disgusting is reporting that John Luessenhop is in talks to direct Leatherface 3D, Lionsgate's relaunch of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) [Blu-ray] ) franchise.


This project is reported to start immediately after Tobe Hooper’s original film (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2-Disc Ultimate Edition) ) ended then move forward 35 years. Unless there’s a new Leatherface dude must be collecting Social Security in this film.

No production date has been reported yet, but release is expected in 2013.
