WTF? Sly has made it official (despite the talk that he would be) that he won’t be directing the sequel to The Expendables (The Expendables (Three-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)
). Stallone, who stared in and directed the original $275 million grossing film, is currently involved in putting together a list of directors to run the sequel. The film is being scripted as you read and is expected (I’m hoping!) to have both Arnold Schwarzenegger Schwarzenegger Collection(Predator / Commando / True Lies)

)return. Personally I hope to see them in more than cameos this time, but one can only dream (Eva Mendes has yet to call me after all!) The case is also expected to expand beyond the original stars, but no final casting choices have been made at this time.I know that the original was a love or hate situation, so maybe this one will be a bit different. Either way I enjoyed the original, taking it for the popcorn ‘80’s throw back that it was, so I’m looking forward to munching some unhealthy popcorn to the sequel.
